From language and literacy development to social skills and creative expression, the children at Lighthouse Early Childhood Center are constantly being exposed to new activities and environments in which to thrive. After-School Care
A safe and fun, enriching environment for your child after school
3:30-5:30pm, games, activities and snacks
$65/week
Spots are available for children ages 5-11 years-old, to be dropped off by bus from Churchville Elementary or picked up by our van. More details available if you call or email. Spots are limited.
What We Do
We provide our students with the tools they need for future happiness and success. Our unique programs incorporate a variety of education theories while always keeping the child's best interest in mind and allowing for hands-on experimental learning.
Lighthouse Early Childhood Center uses positive reinforcement and role modeling techniques as a means to reinforce positive behavior. We encourage redirection and child-initiated dialogue as a means of settling issues.

Growing
Together
Our curriculum helps our students investigate the world around them, learning more about their community both large and small, developing the skills to work together and speak their minds in productive ways. We hone our literary skills, our creative thinking, our crafting abilities, our motor skills and emotional intelligence. Each day, we read a book, and complete literacy, math, social studies, art, and whole group activities. We review Bible stories that remind our students how much God loves us and the beautiful world He created. And we have fun! We spend time playing games and enjoying themed centers, and we take breaks outside on our exciting playset and patio.
